Dr. Ancy Verdier

Bedi Dental is pleased to announce that our periodontist Dr. Ancy Verdier was featured in a blog post in the ADA Practice Transitions ADAPT blog. ADA Practice Transitions is an arm of the American Dental Association, and ADAPT is the name of their blog. In the post “Transition Tale: Where Quality of Care Matters Most,” Dr. Verdier shares his journey from being a harried associate at multiple offices in New York, to becoming a partner in a practice in Worcester, Massachusetts. He tells how leaving a big-city practice environment resulted in a more productive, profitable and professional satisfying dental career. As he stated in the post, “in New York City or Boston, I’d be competing on price and convenience. Here, the quality of my work is what matters.” He also advises young dentists not to default to big-city practices. “While it can seem like everyone else is doing it, smaller markets can give you plenty of room to grow without paying exorbitant housing costs and practice overhead.” For doctors who are evaluating alternative career-path options, this is a worthwhile read.

After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Verdier completed a prestigious three-year residency program in Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, after which he was awarded Diplomate status by the American Academy of Periodontology. He also was featured in the magazine Incisal Edge Top 40 Dentist under 40.
